Salisbury
- Hotels, B&B's, Hostels & Lots More - Find The
Accommodation That's Right
For You and Yours
Salisbury is a frequent
tourist destination and one of the places numerous tourists wish to
check out when they travel to England. As such, it’s best to
explore and book your hotel or accommodation well in advance of
arrival, particularly if you’re coming during the peak
summertime months.
We will now
look at much of the alternatives for you here:
The White Hart
Hotel – The White Hart Hotel is very central to Salisbury
town centre and as such is an idealistic place to stay. It’s
slightly costly but suites are nicely decorated and service is good.
It’s rather fashionable with the business crowd whenever they
need to stay at Salisbury. There’s also a good garden terrace
area just in front the car park.
Best Western
Hotel Salisbury – Again, slightly on the upper end of the
price spectrum but the hotel has nice suites and is centrally situated.
The inside lobby is also rather gratifying.
Red Lion Hotel
Salisbury – The Red Lion Hotel is surely brimming with
historical charm. The construction itself was constructed in the
twelfth century and there’s a lovely courtyard in keeping
with the townspeople quaint persona.
If
you’re looking for mid-range prices for your accommodation in
Salisbury then you can try one of several B&B’s (Bed
& Breakfast) places some of which are based along Castle Road.
Many
B&B’s you may wish to try out are Byways House and
Leena’s Guesthouse. Good options if you happen to be on a
budget. The Medieval Mill Hotel & Restaurant is also an option
– the construction dates back to the 1500’s and is
situated right by the river Avon. It’s about ten minutes from
Salisbury town centre but a pleasant place to stay if being in the
centre isn’t a must. There are some wonderful scenes of
Salisbury from the hotel, and you can even consider the majestic
Cathedral spire which is quite a sight.
As Well
reasonably priced is the Antrobus Arms Hotel, the food here is esteemed
to be rather good also. A few other places worth a mention are Howards
House, Rose & Crown Hotel and Woodfalls Inn.
For those on a
demanding budget and if you’re searching for nominal frills
there’s also the Salisbury Youth Hostel.
